Lee Ho Jung in discussion to join Kim Nam Gil’s upcoming drama “Thief: The Sound of the Sword”

Lee Ho Jung will reportedly join the upcoming Netflix original series “Thief: The Sound of the Sword.”

On December 7th, media outlets reported that Lee Ho Jung will be added to the cast of the upcoming series “Thief: The Sound of the Sword.” 

Lee Ho Jung’s agency YG Entertainment confirmed the reports that Lee Ho Jung received the offer. They also stated that their artist is positively considering appearing in the upcoming Netflix original series “Thief: The Sound of the Sword.” 

“Thief: The Sound of the Sword” will be a collaboration of director Hwang Joon Hyuk and writer Han Jung Hoon. The drama will be led by Kim Nam Gil, Lee Yoo Young, Yoo Jae Myung, and Lee Hyun Wook. 

The original series is set in the 1920s. It will tell the story of people who lost their homes in the 1920s. The drama will also show how these people will do their best to protect their homes, families, and colleagues.

Lee Ho Jung got the offer to play the role of Eon Nyun. She is the daughter of a tenant farmer. She became a famous shooter to take revenge on the murder of her parents. 

“Thief: The Sound of the Sword” will start filming next year. The release date of the drama is still undecided.

Lee Ho Jung made her debut as a model. In 2016, she ventured into acting through the series “Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo.” Since then, she’s been appearing in several dramas and movies. 

For this year, Lee Ho Jung starred in the series “Nevertheless,” with Han So Hee, Song Kang, Chae Jong Hyeop, Lee Yeol Eum, Kim Min Gwi. Yang Hye Ji, and more. She was also part of the movie “Hostage: Missing Celebrity” starring Hwang Jung Min.
