TVING original drama “Monstrous” unveils its cast line-up!

Upcoming TVING original series “Monstrous” confirms cast line-up!

Koo Kyo Hwan, Shin Hyun Bin, Kim Ji Young, Park Ho San, Kwak Dong Yeon, and Nam Da Reum will lead the upcoming TVING original drama “Monstrous.” 

“Monstrous” will depict the story of archaeologists who finds a solution for a mysterious case. The drama will be produced by Studio Dragon and it will be helmed by Yeon Sang Ho (“Train to Busan” and “Peninsula”) and written by Ryu Yong Jae (“Pied Piper”). 

The drama is slated to air during the first half of 2022 and it will exclusively air on the OTT platform, TVING. 

Koo Kyo Hwan will play the role of Jung Ki Hoon, the eccentric archaeologist. He studies mysterious supernatural phenomena. 

Shin Hyun Bin will play the ex-wife of Koo Kyo Hwan’s character. The actress will bring life to the character of Lee Soo Jin, a genius decoder. She lost her only daughter and decided to leave everything behind. Because of this, she began experiencing mysterious things. 

Kim Ji Young will portray the role of a police chief named Han Suk Hee. She is having a hard time saving her son from a terrible incident. 

Park Ho San is the director named Kwon Jong Soo. He is currently planning several things for the prosperity and development of his area but he will be devastated by the unexpected events. 

Kwak Dong Yeon will be the trouble maker named Kwak Yong Ju. He has a rebellious look and attitude. The mysterious incident will also not be a serious thing for him. 

Lastly, Nam Da Reum will be a good character named Han Do Kyung. He is the only person in the area that doesn’t lose his goodwill. He will have many encounters with Kwak Dong Yeon’s character. Han Do Kyung wants to have a normal life who’s not involved in complicated things but a disaster wakes up his resistance.
