The upcoming drama “Shooting Stars” starring Lee Sung Kyung and Kim Young Dae will premiere in April.
On March 11th tvN released the first trailer of the upcoming drama “Shooting Stars.” It was also revealed in the clip that the series will air its first episode on April 22, 2022.
“Shooting Stars” will tell the stories of people from behind the scenes who do everything to make the stars shine and look perfect. It will be directed by Lee Soo Hyun (“The Witch’s Diner”) and rookie writer Choi Young Woo. The dama will be produced by Studio Dragon and Mace Entertainment.
Aside from Lee Sung Kyung and Kim Young Dae, Yoon Jong Hoon, CNBLUE’s Lee Jung Shin, Girls Day’s Park So Jin, N.Flying Lee Seung Hyub, and Kim Yoon Hye will also be part of the drama.
“Shooting Stars” will be both available on tvN and OTT streaming platform, iQIYI.

In the first few seconds of the trailer video, Kim Young Dae’s character Gong Tae Sung was revealed. He was pictured as a shining star attending photoshoots, meeting worldwide fans, and showing a seemingly perfect life that anyone would get envy.
It was then followed by clips of the people behind the scenes that make the effort to make him look perfect were running around and busy solving and cleaning up the mess the stars make.
Lee Sung Kyung’s character Oh Han Byul, the head of PR team of Star Entertainment, Yoon Jong Hoon’s character Kang Yoo Sung, the head of Management Team 1, Kim Yoon Hye’s character Park Ho Young, head of Management Team 2, Star Entertainment’s legal advisor Do Soo Hyuk played by Lee Jung Shin, and entertainment reporter Jo Gi Bbeum played by Park So Jin, were always in a chaotic situation just so they can solve or cover up the flaws and messes of their signed celebrities.
In the last clip, the relationship between Oh Han Byul and Gong Tae Sung was showcased raising viewers’ interest. It was revealed that the two have known each other for a long time.
