10 Korean Dramas You Need to Be Watching in November 2021

1. The Red Sleeve Cuff

I’m always up for a good historical romance, and it looks like we will get a good dose of that with The Red Sleeve Cuff. We also have two wonderful actors for this one, and I’m excited to see them together!

The Red Sleeve Cuff is about a court lady (Lee Se Young) who develops a relationship with the Crown Prince (Junho) and eventually becomes a royal concubine.

The Red Sleeve Cuff is scheduled to premiere November 5 on MBC.

2. I’ll Be Your Night

I’ll Be Your Night is a romance about a popular boy group who has a member (Lee Jun Young) suffering from sleepwalking. A woman (Jung In Sung) pretending to be a doctor is brought in to help and live in the groups dorm.

I’ll Be Your Night is scheduled to premiere November 7 on SBS.

3. Royal Secret Inspector and Joy

Royal Secret Inspector and Joy is about about an intelligent man (Taecyeon) who just wants to open a dumpling store but ends being a secret royal inspector and a fiery divorced woman (Kim Hye Yoon) that go undercover to reveal corruption.

Royal Secret Inspector and Joy is scheduled to premiere November 8 on tvN.

4. Now, We Are Breaking Up

Now, We Are Breaking Up follows the romance between leader of a fashion design team (Song Hye Kyo) who tries to benefit from her own work and a wealthy freelance photographer (Jang Ki Yong. The drama comes from the writer of Misty.

Now, We Are Breaking Up is scheduled to premiere November 12 on SBS.

5. Melancholia

Melancholia is about a scandal at a prestigious private high school involving a female teacher (Im Soo Jung) and a former male student (Lee Do Hyun) after they reunite years later.

Melancholia is scheduled to premiere November 10 on tvN.

6. Happiness

Happiness is a thriller about a world where infectious diseases run rampant and shows the social issues and class discrimination that happens is a sealed off high rise apartment complex when things take a turn for the worse after a severe new disease breaks out. Starring Park Hyung Shik and Han Hyo Joo.

Happiness is scheduled to premiere November 5 on tvN.

7. Idol: The Coup

Idol: The Coup is about a group of doomed idols that need just one success so they can finally disband and move onto other things with the focus on a member of the failed girl group Cotton Candy (Hani), a member of a popular group (Kim Min Kyu), and the CEO of entertainment agency (Kwak Shi Yang).

Idol: The Coup is scheduled to premiere November 8 on JTBC.

8. School 2021

School 2021 is the latest installment in the School series which focuses on the lives of students at a vocational school. Starring Kim Yo Han and Jo Yi Hyun.

School 2021 is scheduled to premiere November 17 on KBS.

9. The King’s Affection

The King’s Affection is a historical about a forgotten king who was actually a woman (Park Eun Bin) who kept her identity and follows her romantic adventures in the palace with her teacher (Rowoon).

The King’s Affection airs Monday and Tuesday on KBS.

10. Jirisan

Jirisan is a mystery drama about the Mount Jiri National Park rangers which includes a top park ranger (Jun Ji Hyun) and her rookie partner (Joo Ji Hoon) as they rescue people and try to uncover a mystery.

Jirisan airs Saturday and Sunday on tvN.

One the Woman

One the Woman tells the story of a corrupt prosecutor (Honey Lee) who is in an accident, gets amnesia, and then wakes up living the life of a woman who looks just like her and is the daughter-in-law of a chaebol family.

One the Woman airs Friday and Saturday on SBS.

High Class

High Class is a mystery suspense drama about a lawyer (Jo Yeo Jung) who is framed for the murder of her husband. She meets the influential mother (Kim Ji Soo) of a student at a prestigious school where her own son attends that her husband had an affair with.

High Class airs Monday and Tuesday on JTBC.
