Chae Jong Hyeop will reportedly lead the upcoming series “Unlock the Boss”

Rising actor Chae Jong Hyeop is in discussion to be the main lead of the upcoming drama “Unlock the Boss.”

According to several media outlets on January 12th, Chae Jong Hyeop has been picked to be the main lead of the upcoming KT Studio Genie’s original series “Unlock the Boss.” 

Chae Jong Hyeop’s side has not confirmed the reports yet. 

“Unlock the Boss” will be based on a Naver webtoon of the same name. The upcoming drama will be directed by Lee Chul Ha and written by Kim Hyung Min. It will tell the story of a boss who is trapped in a smartphone and a man who picks up the smartphone and learns about the situation.

Chae Jong Hyeop will reportedly play the character named Park In Sung. A man whose life will have a turnaround after picking up a mysterious smartphone. He will work as a temporary president to save the boss named Kim Sun Joo.

“Unlock the Boss” is still in the process of finalizing the casting. The broadcast details have not been revealed yet.

If Chae Jong Hyeop confirms his casting in the series “Unlock the Boss,” this will be his second time as the main lead in a drama. He is set to debut as the main lead in the upcoming series “Going to You at a Speed of 493 km” with Park Joo Hyun, 4minute’s Kwon So Hyun, Seo Ji Hye, Kim Moo Joon, and Bin Chan Uk. 

Last year, the actor was very busy as he starred in three dramas:   “Sisyphus: The Myth,” “Nevertheless,” and “The Witch’s Diner.” 

Chae Jong Hyeop made his debut in 2016. He gained more recognition in 2021 after starring in several dramas. He also participated in various variety programs that made people like him even more.
