Heo Sung Tae joins Lee Jung Jae’s movie “Hunt + Jin Seok Kyu steps down from the movie

Heo Sung Tae will be reuniting with Lee Jung Jae in the upcoming movie “Hunt.” Jin Seon Kyu decides to withdraw from the film due to schedule conflicts.

On September 21st Heo Sung Tae’s agency Hanahreum Company shared through media outlet Newsen that the actor has decided to appear in the upcoming movie “Hunt.” 

This will be the reunion movie of Heo Sung Tae and Lee Jung Jae since “Squid Game.” Top actor Lee Jung Jae will be the director, producer, and main lead of the movie. It was also reported that Lee Jung Jae took four years to make the script of the film. 

On the other hand, Jin Seon Kyu who was supposed to play the character named Ahn Gi Bu decided to step down from the film. The actor confirmed his casting last March but decided to withdraw due to difficulty in adjusting his schedule. 

The upcoming movie “Hunt” is an action film that will take on the journey of National Intelligence Service (NIS) agents Park Pyung Ho and Kim Jung Do who discovered something while chasing after the person in charge of North Korean spies.

Lee Jung Jae will play the role of Park Pyung Ho,  a representative of the NIS overseas team. Jung Woo Sung will play the role of Kim Jung Do, he belongs to the domestic team and is the colleague and rival of Park Pyung Ho. Heo Sung Tae on the other hand will play the role of an agent for the National Security Agency belonging to an overseas team together with Park Pyung Ho.

Other casts of the drama include Jeon Hye Jin and Go Yoon Jung. Meanwhile, here is the list of actors that will make a special appearance in the film: Joo Ji Hoon, Kim Nam Gil, Park Sung Woong, Jo Woo Jin and Kim Chan Hyung.

The premiere of the movie “Hunt” is not yet revealed.

Aside from “Hunt,” Heo Sung Tae is set to appear in the upcoming films “Stellar” and “Boys.” The actor will also join another Netflix original series titled “The Silent Sea” with Gong Yoo, Bae Doo Na, Lee Joon, and more. 

Heo Sung Tae starred in the recently released Netflix original series “Squid Game” with Lee Jung Jae, Park Hae Soo, Jung Ho Yeon, Wi Ha Joon, Oh Young Soo, and more.
