Lee Seo Jin and Ra Mi Ran to lead the upcoming TVING drama “Park Won Jang of Internal Medicine”

Lee Seo Jin and Ra Mi Ran will be working together for the upcoming TVING drama “Park Won Jang of Internal Medicine.”

On August 13th reports stated that Lee Seo Jin and Ra Mi Ran will be the main leads for the new TVING original drama. They will act as husband and wife in “Park Won Jang of Internal Medicine.” It will be directed and written by Seo Joon Beom.

“Park Won Jang of Internal Medicine” is based on a webtoon of the same name. It will be a comedy-drama that will showcase the life of Park Won Jang. He established his own internal medicine clinic in hopes of making a lot of money. But reality will hit him as he struggles to save his clinic. The drama will revolve around a small neighborhood where lawmakers and pharmacies are gathered together.

Lee Seo Jin will be playing the role of Park Won Jang. He dreams of becoming a rich and famous doctor. He started his own internal medical clinic to reach his dreams. This will be Lee Seo Jin’s first attempt to act in a comedy-drama. 

Ra Mi Ran will play as Sa Mo Rin, Park Won Jang’s wife. She is a self-proclaimed assistant queen. She believes in the doctors in a tv show than her husband. 

“Park Won Jang of Internal Medicine” is slated to air in the second half of 2021. It will exclusively be available on OTT platform, TVING. 

“Park Won Jang of Internal Medicine” will be Lee Seo Jin’s second drama for 2021. He last starred in the OCN drama titled “Times” with Lee Joo Young and Kim Yeong Cheol. He was also part of the dramas “Trap,” “Marriage Contract,” “The Best Future,” “Wonderful Days,” and more. 

Meanwhile, this will be Ra Mi Ran’s comeback to the small screen after 2 years. She was part of the 2019 drama “Black Dog” with Seo Hyun Jin. The renowned actress will also appear in several upcoming movies such as “Citizen Deok Hee,” “Honest Candidate 2,” “Come Back Home,” and “High Five.”
