Upcoming Hong Sisters’ drama “Return” confirms its official cast!

Upcoming drama “Return” has announced the final cast lineup of the series. 

On March 3rd it was officially announced that  Lee Jae Wook, Jung So Min,  NU’EST Hwang Min Hyun, Shin Seung Ho, Yoo Joon Sang, Oh Na Ra, Jo Jae Yoon, and Oh My Girl’s Arin will be leading the upcoming drama “Return.”

“Return” will be the latest drama of the top writers’ Hong Sisters (Hong Jung Eun and Hong Mi Ran). The series will be directed by Park Joon Hwa ( “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?”). The Hong Sisters are known for writing hit dramas such as “Hotel del Luna,” “A Korean Odyssey,” “The Master’s Sun,” “My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho,” and more. 

The upcoming series is a fantasy romance drama that will showcase the fate of the people who encountered “hwanhonsool” (the soul of the dead return to the living).

“Return” is set to air this year. It will be on tvN and it will reportedly have 20 episodes. 

Lee Jae Wook will portray the character of Jang Wook. He is a noble but bad master of the Jang family. 

Jung So Min will play the role of Mudeok. She is the best warrior but her soul has been trapped in a physically weak body. She will become Jang Wook’s servant and she will teach him how to fight. 

Hwang Min Hyun will bring life to Seo Yool, a genius nobleman from the Seo clan. He has a great appearance, intelligence, and martial arts skills. He has a pure love for a secret girl. 

Shin Seung Ho will take on the role of Go Won. He is the crown prince of Daeho and he dreams to become a generous and benevolent monarch. 

Other cast members of the drama include Yoo In Soo, Lee Do Kyung, Joo Sang Wook, Girls Day Park So Jin, Park Eun Hye, and Go Yoon Jung.
